Who we are

OneDollarQRcodes ("we", "our", "us") is a small independent product operated at onedollarqrcodes.com. You can reach us at pmaass@gmail.com for any privacy-related question or request.

What we collect

• Email address — collected at checkout so we can deliver your QR code, send transactional messages (renewal reminders, support replies), and — only if you'd like — occasional product updates.
• Payment information — your card number and billing details are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout page and never touch our servers. We receive only a Stripe customer reference and the fact that a payment succeeded.
• QR-code content — the destination URL you choose, your styling selections (colors, shape, optional uploaded logo), and the short code we generate. We need this to deliver the QR and to keep the redirect working for three years.
• Basic technical data — your IP address and browser, recorded transiently in server logs for security and abuse prevention. We do not use third-party tracking, advertising pixels, or behavioral analytics.

How we use your information

• Deliver the product you paid for. We email you the QR code(s) and keep the short-link redirect working for three years.
• Transactional messages. Order confirmations, renewal reminders, and replies to support emails.
• Optional product updates. If you opt in, we may occasionally email you about new features or related products we build. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough — no forms, no waiting.
• Operations and abuse prevention. Detecting fraud, debugging issues, complying with legal obligations.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your personal information with third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, marketing networks, or any other party for their independent use. We don't run ads on this site and we never will.

Service providers we use

Like most small online products, we use a few well-known service providers to actually run the site. They process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies and contractual obligations not to use your data for their own purposes:

• Stripe — payment processing. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Resend — outbound email delivery. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Netlify — website hosting and short-link redirects. See netlify.com/privacy.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use marketing cookies, third-party analytics, or behavioral tracking. We may set a minimal session cookie if you log in to the admin area, but that's it.

Data retention

QR records (your destination URL, styling, and email) are stored for the lifetime of your QR code — three years — and for a short additional window after expiration so you can renew. After that they're deleted. You can request earlier deletion at any time by emailing us; if you do, the corresponding short-link will stop resolving.

Your rights

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to update incorrect information (e.g., the destination of a QR code).
• Deletion — ask us to delete your email and QR records.
• Opt out — unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time, either via the unsubscribe link or by emailing us.

Children

OneDollarQRcodes is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please email us and we'll delete it.

International users

Our servers and service providers are based in the United States. If you're using this site from outside the U.S., understand that your data is being processed in the U.S., which may have different privacy laws than your jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top and, where appropriate, notify affected users by email. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
